Come and join the NOSH team at the JHB Culinary & Pastry School for a gastronomic experience with a difference!

After sundowners on the sexy balcony, you’ll be treated to a spectacular three-course (or more) meal expertly prepared and exquisitely presented by the proprietors, Kelvin and Jarlyne Joel, together with Chef Owen Jullies and Chef Renoir Sardinha, supported by lecturers and students of JCPS, utilising salvaged and rescued foodstuffs that would otherwise have gone to waste. You will see that that even unloved produce, in the hands of skilled and talented culinary professionals, can shine and delight!

There is safe off-street parking available, details will be posted in the event comments.

There will be a cash bar and a lucky draw and we’re hoping to have some live music to entertain you. You’ll also be treated to a selection of art on display and for sale as an additional fundraiser – all proceeds go to NOSH.

We need you! Your support helps us do more of what we do while you get to be entertained and learn how and why we NOSH… and hopefully gain inspiration on how you can perhaps get involved going forward!

JHB Culinary & Pastry School

JHB Culinary & Pastry School opened its doors in June 2012 under the leadership of Kelvin and Jarlyne Joel. After many years in the industry Chef Kelvin identified a need in the industry for chefs who had both qualification and experience.

Starting from humble beginnings and being a private institution, we are proud to have had over 250 students since our inception. We offer students affordable quality education while allowing our students the opportunity to have on-the-job training while they study.

As part of our curriculum, professional experience is a requirement, JHB Culinary & Pastry School offer 30% theoretical training and 70% practical training.
